Finally, Toshiba has a plethora of new laptops for us to look over. All of these notebooks are ready for some 3D entertainment, but some ship more ready than others.
Starting with the L series (pictured right), Toshiba is adding three new models here (which can then be customized and broken down to two to four sub-models after that). Each of the 13.3-, 15.6- and 17.3-inch options come with the following base specs:

Bluetooth 3.0 + HS
Fast Ethernet LAN or Gigabit LAN
Super-Multi DVD drive, Blu-ray ROM drive, or Blu-ray rewritable drive

Connectivity: Two USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0 with USB Sleep-and-Charge (or 3x USB 2.0 incl. one port with USB Sleep-and-Charge), HDMI out, Multi-Card Reader

After that, processor options range from Intel Core i3/i5 to AMD Phenom/Turion/Athlon II Triple-Core and Quad-Core CPUs.
But back to 3D, the L Series, as well as the new P Series computers (pictured above), support 3D movies via HDMI2 on an external 3D TV. A few of the L Series models are also To overcome the current limited availability of 3D content, some L and P series models are also ready for 2D to 3D conversion.
Moving on to the P Series, the base specs are nearly identical but there are a few exceptions. Namely, all of the P Series computers come with NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics (1GB or 2GB), a TV tuner, Harmon Kardon speakers, and only second-generation Intel Core processor choices.
But again, there is an option that is more ready than the rest for 3D gaming and video playback. Each of the four P Series notebooks can be stepped up to the P 3D Series with a TruBrite HD 3D display with a frame rate of 120Hz, dedicated 3D graphics, NVIDIA 3D Vision technology and a pair of 3D wireless active shutter glasses. However, besides the 3D enhancements, the rest of the details on the P 3D Series remains the same as the original P Series laptops.
